Likely, but it is a taxonomic tangle surpassing almost any other genus. If the flowers are not fragrant you can easily rule out odoratum. The number of flowers are not much help either.

Strange, I was just reading about the Solomon's Seal Sawfly and it's larvae, in the uK. I thought that maybe they attacked other species in Lilaceae, but they eat apples and gooseberries also. I don't think the red lily beetles have migrated to my area yet. It may take a while comparing the Polygonatum species, because they are all so similar. In eastern NA we have the rare Polygonatum pubescens and Polygonatum biflorum, and our Giant Solomon's Seal, Polygonatum biflorum var. commutatum, that is sure to be lifted to species status as Polygonatum commutatum.
