I've had country style chairs, and simply purchased seat cushions that tie on. I'm assuming the seats are wood. Check all the major marketers (Kmart, Sears, Macy's, Target, also amazon.com) online. If you can't find any you like, look into getting something you don't like on sale, and simply make covers for it. If you don't know how to sew, perhaps you know someone who does.

I have never seen a wooden country style seat upholstered. Doesn't mean it can't be, I've just never seen anything other than cushions that tie onto the back spokes.

Are these chairs similar? You could paint them black.

They look great contrasting the light wood. Thanks

Have you ever thought about painting the legs and just leaving the top light?
