New sewing room!

It’s still a work in progress, but this is the sewing room in our new home. In the previous house the frame was in a separate room. It’s hard to get good photos from the doorways.

From the bedroom - sewing setup in front of the windows and the frame on the other side. I like it because I am facing the windows at both machines..

Looking the other way, from the foyer:

I’m going to get a cabinet (or two) for fabric storage for the niche behind the ironing board.

Donna, I am so jealous! That is a great room and loads of natural light. I share my sewing room with my office and we added a twin bed for my granddaughter. You will have lots of room for storage cabinets, too!

What a wonderful sewing room, Donna. Like Sue, I’m green with envy. I also have a combo office/sewing room. My longarm is in our lower level. It would be so great to have everything all together, including a big table. Oh, well. I’m fortunate to have what I do, but it’s always fun to dream. Your dreams must have come true.

What a wonderful exciting time for you!

Jealousy, envy! I have both of those. Now, I do have a huge space, half the basement, but I would love to have windows like that.

Funny you should ask, Theresa, I was just thinking that I need to post some more pictures of my space! I will take some tomorrow.

The house is great! We had 7,200 square feet of sod laid last Wednesday, so the yard looks like a yard now instead of a beach. 😁 We spent a lot of time dragging sprinklers around the first couple of days, but fortunately we had a lot of rain Sunday night (over 2”) and it has rained some every day since.
