Flooring Design Dilemma

what color flooring?

I am redoing a small bathroom. Have an oak/maple colored vanity with a black granite top. What color flooring should I use? Important additional note: In the above bathroom, it is small (60 sq. ft.) and has no natural light.

Appreciate any advice.

do you think it might be too busy for a small room?

on the contrary! in my opinion, small spaces are the best place to go a little wild with design.

I really like the black and white idea, and there are many options to choose from. I would personally prefer a slightly simpler, less busy design just based on personal taste, but the pattern shared by Sabrina will totally work too. Here are a few more options:

I have this hex tile in white on my powder room floor... LOVE IT! Adds a little texture and pattern without being too fussy. No window. I have a small crystal light fixture in the ceiling and white linen sconces above the vanity.

Oak vanity and Soapstone countertop, white walls.

I love the suggestions for a patterned tile. I prefer more understated design but will certainly take the advice to "go wild" if something catches my eye.
