1. Wider curtain rod. Remove the middle curtain. Use the two end curtains untied and hanging, partially covering the window though mostly on the wall outside of the window.

2. Remove the pink pillows, use throw pillows that have colors of your rug and the curtains.

3. Don't use the big ottoman. Get a coffee table instead.

4. Pretty rug. Don't know if it is the correct size. Try pulling it out from under the sofa to it extends more towards the TV stand. Or, try turning it 90 degrees.

5. Swap the location of the macrame wall hanging and the mirror. The macrame is a better width for your sofa and will bring some of your rug color to the wall. Hang the mirror lower in its new location - the middle of the mirror should be around your eye height.

6. Pull the sofa slightly away from the window all - maybe 8", it looks crammed now.

7. Don't think the vase and sticks are doing anything for the room. Remove them.

Put a colorful piece of artwork over the sofa. You need color in there. If you're keeping the salmon/pink pillows then artwork in those colors will suffice.

Agree that you need to pull more colors from the rug up onto the couch and wall - (textured chunky cream throw pillows would break up all the dark grey)

the ottoman looks comfy, i would try it lined up next to the far right couch cushion and make that more of a ”chaise” - I think getting it out of the center will open up the space a bit

then I’d grab a C table for the other end so you can set down a mug, phone etc

Add a cream color floor lamp next to the couch, put the wall hanging where the mirror is, cream color pillows and throw, a light wooden circular tray for the ottoman to put your drinks on, wider, fuller cream textured curtains, replace sticks with live plant.

I'd get a wood toned C table that somewhat blends with the floor and sofa and doesn't pop too much.

I like that tripod lamp. Very nice. Either metal tone could work... But in your space, I think I ’might’ lean towards the bronze.

I like the vibrant colored pillows, and my suggestion would be to just add a complementary throw on the ottoman.

Abstract artwork.

I have to move the rug around, move the vase with sticks, and extend the curtains out but i'm not loving the color of the curtains. What are your thoughts? Should I add another row of frames or sconces?

None of that stuff mounted over the sofa is working for this room. It's too small in scale and you've mounted EVERYTHING too high on the walls.
