Cotton or microfiber to clean quartz countertops?

In a Google search everyone says to use microfiber dish cloths to clean quartz countertops. However I dislike the feel of microfiber, it dries out too fast, and after a while they no longer smell fresh even with regular washing. Does anyone know if it’s OK to use cotton dish cloths to clean quartz countertops? I can’t find anything definitive in a Google search.

Yes, you can use cotton dishcloths on quartz. It's a manmade product, but shouldn't be so delicate that a cotton cloth can damage if it it's also supposed to be durable enough to be used as a kitchen surface.
