They just had a sale a few weeks ago. They have some kind of deal not infrequently, although sometimes it covers just part of the line. I think it's worth waiting til August!

The big 30% off elfa sale used to run from late December (day after Christmas) I think, until mid-February. Not sure if they still do that. its worth i quiring at your closest Container Store.

They run it several times a year now—sign up for the mailing list and you’ll get a notice (or many!)

ETA: Just looked at the email folder and the most recent 30% off promo ran the first two weeks of May so just ended—but there will surely be another soon. Last summer it looks like it was 25% off for all of July and then 30% off in late September, when we bought a few more things.

They charge now for you to pick up at the store? Is there a store near you? You could just go in and buy it, or order in-store and pick up later.

You can still order to the store for free pickup (or at least you could as recently as this past summer). You can also order most of the smaller pieces for free shipping--they only charge for the oversized pieces. We get the large pieces for in-store pickup to get the bones set up and then figure out the details afterwards and order as needed when they're on sale. On closet #2 now (but I think it's finally done!)
