What a transformation this project was! My client wanted to update her kitchen and the final results were stunning. We slightly modified the layout of the kitchen by moving a doorway which created a better pathway into the kitchen and made space for the refrigerator and pantry. We further changed the layout by removing approximately 10 feet of a wall and opening the kitchen into the living room which made the kitchen feel much more spacious. We added a large island that houses the dishwasher and sink. The dark cabinets in the island beautifully contrast the white cabinets throughout the rest of the kitchen. We added new cabinets in the breakfast area for additional storage and counter space. New barstools, as well as a new kitchen table and chairs were selected. We changed the lighting fixtures and selected gold cabinet handles that matched the color of the new plumbing fixtures. We swapped the tile flooring for new hardwood flooring. New granite countertops and a tile backsplash were installed. A fresh coat of paint was applied, and voila! A beautiful new space was revealed!
