My favorite is (Grandma's Smile X Dearest Valentine) X ($exy Samantha X Bubble Delicious 2) #1. I really like both the color and form. This form is one of my favorites though I only have a few of this style. I'm not really into toothy ones so it fits the bill for me!

A nice group of seedlings! It's hard to pick a favorite, but you know I like the pink ones so I guess my favorite is the Grandma's Smile X Dearest Valentine one. The White Tooth X Skater clump shot is quite impressive. I would take it to Indy too. I really like its shape and the eye including the pattern on the sepals. The seedling X Razor Sharp #2 is really pretty. It's too bad it is not taller.

I have noted that some daylilies seem to take it easy after they have had a lot of pods the season before.

I like the Razor Sharp #1 seedling, I’m weird, the height doesn’t bother me. I am not a big tooth fan but on this one they arent obnoxiously big. I also like the Core Values seedling, like it better than the Dragonfly Dawn seedling. Your first seedling looks close to Gently Down the Stream….I think we both have that one.

These are some really pretty ones! Something good to say about each. Razor Sharp seedling is striking with that color. Like Brad I love the color on the Grandma’s Smile seedling. The White Tooth seedling looks impressive.

Sherry and Nan - The Razor Sharp #2 seedling does have coloration similar to Gently Down the Stream. I haven't grown that one for five or six years. It's the tall one - scapes are 28 and 29 inches. It's #1 that is only 22 inches tall.

Kate and Brad - I won't be keeping the rose pink seedling. It doesn't have a watermark or an edge, so it doesn't make the suitcase. If either one of you would like it, let me know.

Sherry - I know you say the short stature doesn't bother you. But I'm thinking an evergreen with 22 inch scapes here will be even shorter in the north with the flowers down in the foliage. If it were dormant 22 inches wouldn't bother me.

Debra, the evergreens that do well here have never had blooms down in the foliage. The only exception to that for me was Destined to See last season. It has been here for over a decade …thinking the weather last season affected it along with many other daylilies here. My experience is that I rarely have blooms in the foliage in my gardens.

Sherry - You are lucky. I've heard Nancy in KY and Mantis complain about both evergreens and semi-evergreens being down in the foliage. I will have a lot this season.
