Wow Linda! Looking terrific…… beautiful hostas and seedlings! Your garden is really showing off well. Not too far from you, I agree that the rain has been good. Wisconsin has been in drought for several years and this year it’s wonderful to have this much rain.

I need to weed and clean the debris off my hostas before taking pictures 🙁..

Wow! At least I'm not the only one dealing with rain, rain and more rain. We've had so much that the mulch is white with mold in the early morning.

On the bright side, the hosta are loving it, as is everything else. After two years of scorching summers and very little rain, maybe everything will get a break from the chlorine in city water.

Such great pictures, both of you have beautiful gardens. We finally got some rain on Saturday, not a lot but enough to perk up some of the hostas. Much cooler today, which is a relief since the ac was running non-stop last week. We've got so much weeding to do and lots of annuals to plant.

I am not getting any rain. Florida loosely translates to "rain twice daily somewhere" and it is not living up to its name. Large storms that are headed my way just go around me or just loses punch. I water morning and early evenings. See me there appearing daily.

Debra, I love how strategically you are utilizing your areas. I remember gardening on suburban plot, everything counts. When convention was in MN , their offers were regular sized suburban and city gardens. Everyone can make extra new bed on 3 acre property.

And your peonies are to die for. Anything special you do?

Lindalana, I tend to think of my garden as having been planted Willy-nilly so I’m very happy if it looks strategic!! My peony is Monsier Jules Elie. It’s a very large variety as you can see. It’s 6 years old. Finally started to really bloom last year. I have not done anything special. On the other hand, my Modesta peony which was one of my first plants in the garden looks terrible! The buds are tiny. I will have to make a post for the peony forum and see what they recommend.
