My partner is about to close on a house on the Big Island of Hawaii. It’s 3 BR, 2-1/2 Bath, located on the Hamakua Coast, just north of Hilo. We have very little furniture after paring down in Houston in anticipation of a move. So we’ll need help choosing, sourcing and styling furniture. The only problem is, we don’t know of any designers who serve the Hilo area. We checked the interior-designer listings on houzz, but the few that serve the Hilo area didn’t seem like a good match with us for one reason or another. Does anyone know of a designer who might be able to help us? We need someone who is familiar with local sources, as well as the peculiarities of having things shipped to Hawaii.
