Quartz kitchen countertops

I need your help. These are my selections for my new kitchen. Flooring - Bella Legno Avana 12x48. Aberdeen (soft white) for upper cabinets and Cortado (brown) for island. Counter tops are Sienna Quartz which will also be the backsplash. Gold handles on cabinetry. I'm concerned that the counter tops might be too dull/boring. What type i

of quartz has a WOW factor that will make a statement but is not over the top?

Unlike many on here, I am unabashedly and totally all in on quartz, as long as your kitchen/house leans toward the contemporary side of things. The fake plastic argument gets old. Look at Cambria for varying amounts of drama.

So many real stones with some life in them why fake plastic that looks like everyone elses when you could do awesome . THis is granite so much more life there are fab white granites with brown flecks or swirls and the bonus is they can be used behind the cooktop for backsplash too.

If you like veining, look for a granite with gold/brown/gray veins, with a white and cream background. You need to make sure that the white of your cabinetry will look good with the white in the stone. There are many posts on here concerning warm/cool clashes between countertop and cabinetry....

Do you love quartz? Because if you are willing to find another material you will find a little spice or drama. Quartz makes me think of apartments. If you love quartz you may need to find drama with another item in your kitchen. Or look for a black quartz with movement.

If you are willing to try a granite, marble or quartzite you will see the natural beauty of nature come out in the piece of art you will use on your counters.

You need to put that counter sample right next to the white cabinet. I have a feeling the counter is going to look more gray and the cabinets very yellow. Most "white" quartz tend to have a cool blue-gray undertone, so you have to pay close attention to the undertone of any white cabinets you pair with them. Take the samples out in natural light.

We regularly see posts here with people complaining that their white cabinets now look yellow when their "white" quartz counters got installed.

Look at Sienna Bordeaux granite. It isn’t a boring quartz. Unlike quartz, you can also use ite behind your cooktop without it scorching.
