We did the front of our old home. It looks great but the issue is maintenance. It will always need to be resealed over the years. It is not a one and done thing. Secondly, you cannot use salt on it. Salt of course is bad for any surface but especially bad for the seal and stain of a stamped patio.

In the event that you do decide to go with stamped make sure that whomever installs it allows 30 days for it to cure before staining and sealing. Our company did not and it all flaked off and had to be redone. But if done right it can be lovely.

Will always look like a fake imitation. Better spend a bit more upfront to get proper pavers installed (which are easier to main in longer run and less prone to settle cracrackin)

We had stamped concrete done on our old house and it cracked soon thereafter. I would do decking, flagstone or pavers.

You know, you always can go with another option. Power wash it and seal any cracks (I can see two in the pics) and paint it. I have seen people use a high grade exterior concrete paint and stencil it. The way I look at it is, if you hate it you can rip it out and go with pavers or stamped concrete.
