I don't know what causes those white patches, but I've had them show up on several blooms the past two days. Your seedlings look good. I especially like the dark Belle Isle Sentry kid. The Applique photo is striing!

I see that Peacock Maiden disappeared above. Here it is:

Here, the white marks indicate critters chewing, especially earwigs, but perhaps also slugs. I can see the earwig inside the Belle Isle Sentry seedling, as well as Cameroon Nights. It will help to livehead, as the earwigs hide overnight in spent blooms. They like wet conditions under mulch and other debris. The Applique bloom is my favorite. I like appliques, but I believe that you have said in the past that they aren't a favorite of yours.

I like your seedlings, Brad, especially the Belle Isle Sentry. Applique is a lovely color.

Mantis, my opinion on appliques is changing!! They are growing on me. Thanks for the info on earwigs. I'll do what you suggest.
