Color blocking is very current and will date the house down the road. Picture granite with stainless steel appliances and mosaic backsplash.

I would choose no 2. I dont like the first picture at all.

It's very hard to compare, as pic #1 is shaded and shown against a dreary sky and pic# 2 is in the sun. You note the stone, which is probably the same, looks quite different.

#2 in the first set of pictures, and the other house in the second set of pictures. Sun makes a difference

I still prefer the one color house, in this set of pictures, it seems to be no 1.

The color blocked ones to me look like you either ran out of materials or that you bought items from the remnant bin to do your project.

I like the brownish color on the first picture, Is that an option?

Big picture, this is a rather short-term color decision.

If you like the look, could be fun to go with the color blocking option vs. one paint color.

Because it's builder-grade paint. Which means it will need to be painted in 5 to 8 years. It's rare to get 10 years out of an exterior paint job any more.

At which point, you can switch to one color.

Lori makes a good point if the products are something that will need painting. I was assuming that they were a product (Hardi, vinyl, Diamond Kote) that would not need future maintenance.
