Wow - amazing hosta!! I don’t see one bit of slug damage either!! What great soil & growing conditions those gardens must have! Can you tell me what the name of hosta in first of your pics is? The one with white edges, green center. Looks like very strategic placement of it with the one next to it that looks sort of like June

First pic one is Ivory coast. Next to it Brother Stephan. I can see labels better on my own pics but not on posted, darn.

As for maintenance. Hosts were exceptionally nice, 10-10-10 in the spring, then cultivating peat moss in top layer of soil instead of mulch. Milorganite later. They swear by Rootmax use at planting, apparently it skips creep stage from sleep creep leap process .

Yes, it needs to be seen in person to understand how well they are grown.

Well I ordered Rootmax and was thinking prior to visit about incoporating peat moss in top layer of soil at least where it is visible.

Debra, lots of hostas came from Hornbakers. I think I need to visit.
