Floating floors never go under built ins. They always go under appliances. Cabinets should be set to the height of the finished floor, to avoid trapping appliances. Cork is a wonderfully warm and forgiving surface underfoot. But it fades rapidly. Investigate the renewall process, and be sure your windows have a UV coating to slow the process. It will still fade under artificial light. Just not as rapidly.
