Ideas for backyard

I have this area of the backyard that I put my grill and smoker, but I'm looking for ideas on how to transform it. I'm considering adding a paver area for the smoker and grill, but because the grill should be 10 feet away from the house, I'm not sure what to do with that area. What plants or landscaping could I consider planting that close to the foundation?
