Dog damaged strawberry hydrangea

Need some help with my strawberry pinnacle hydrangea - a dog jumped thru it today and split the trunk in half. I've taped it back together with tennis tape. It has damage on some of the branches too but I'm leaving those for now. Any other suggestions?
