Hosta winter problems

Our winter was very hard on my perennials. Though it was a fairly mild winter we had virtually no snow cover, which is unusual for this zone.

I lost a Victory hosta, and 2 others seem to be struggling. They are Liberty and Beach Boy.

I am thinking of putting this small piece of what I think is Sagae in the spot where Victoty was.

I am surprised at the loss of Victory, as it seemed to be thriving. All 3 of the mentioned hosta are in different beds and all the others seem absolutely fine.

Do you think Sagae will be a suitable replacement in this spot, or is it too green to stand out?

This is the one i think is Sagae.

This is the Victory that died. It lit up that spot.

Very sad looking Liberty

Beach Boy

How can i help these 2?
