Hard to answer without understanding the architectural style of your home. Modern? Craftsman? Colonial? Victorian? Something else?

Keep the same trim style as the rest of the house, but see if it can be ordered in a narrower version.

I would do something like this:

A flat stock trim - wider between the doors and window so it is one piece ( not 2 pieces butt together ) and then a standard size around the rest.

^^^^ exactly this. All components stay the same except where they are too close they become one. One header runs across all.

Debbi has the right idea, but because your window and door head heights do not match, you will need a good carpenter to put this together.

It looks like the trim is a simple rectangle which will make things easier. Is the trim MDF or wood, and what's up with the brown where the trim is joined?

Are you just doing new trim?
