layout bed/ensuite

We’ve just started our renovation and are trying to decide on primary bed/bath layout. We seem to have 3 options: 1) as drawn in the plans; 2) pushing out the bathroom wall to gain more bathroom space, which would require bumping it out enough to make the walk-in closet pocket door inside the bathroom, (shown in red) and/or 3) changing the entrance of the bedroom to the opposite end of the room instead of at the top of the stairs (which is feeling very tight as drawn in the plans now that it’s framed out) and from the old primary bedroom entrance make a linen closet (shown in blue).

If we do 2 and 3, it seems as though the space left for our king size bed gets tight. Without 3, at least we have some room to move the bed further away from the bumped out bathroom. The extra space in the bathroom would be nice, just not sure it’s worth it to lose bedroom space and make the entrance more awkward than it already would be.

Photo of unaltered plan, and photo of alterations. (Note bathroom layout will be slightly different than what’s shown in plans).
