Can you show us a picture of the window and a close-up of the casing?

I really appreciate you replying so quickly. The window hasn't been purchased yet because it was supposed to just be a high transom window for light. But then I thought having the window sill of a bay window would be a huge help space wise however we don't want to see straight out from the inside (not a great landscape) . My husband said I could get the bay window as long as cafe shutters stays closed.

Is your window going to appear like this?

Are those hooks that the shutters attach to? Would they work without drilling them into the composite double hung window? I'm very intrigued. Has anyone used something like this with success?

They are not drilled. Look up no drill shutter installation
