What is on the stairs? If you put these two products next to each other there will be no getting around the fact that they don't match and the real wood will make the LVP look like - vinyl. If there are carpeted stairs that provide a visual break, having different flooring on different floors is not as noticeable and I think it works fine. I have real wood on my first floor and LVP in the basement. My stairs turn, so you can't see the two floors at the same time. I invested in good quality padding under the carpet on the stairs so the carpet should wear better.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the stairs will be carpeted and the flooring will not be up next to each other. I think it's a pretty good match all things considered. The LVP sample is a little lighter which will work well in a more darkened space.

I think in your situation it is fine.
