Why not a nice wood /stained to warm things up?

Otherwise? No clue WHAT YOU LIKE. You must have had some inspiration when you chose the tile? What was THAT?

Waht was the plan before you started . The mix of thiles is a bit off IMO so now I think a gray or black one wall hung and very minimal or something like this and a teak bench to use in the bathroom sitting on the black floor to pick up the wood on this one

The initial bathroom was much smaller and than we added some hallway space and extended the bathroom and it became quite large .the black hex floors have now became very large scale and a main focal point instead of the large format shower tiles .now hoping to pick out a vanity that will work in this space and help balance things .here is the end product with tiling completed

The black hex tiles are very bold but the other tiles seem very soft in effect. So I agree a wood vanity would be nice, but if it was my space I would do a white vanity. I would not do black as the floor is already enough dark. Some plants and accessories will warm things up and tie it all together. I would love to see the finished product when you get to that stage!

It was your grout selection that made the floors very bold. A dark grout would have quieted it down.

I would go with white, and as previously suggested wood to warm it up. There are already 3 different tiles in there, I would consider wood a different texture here, but I would be hesitant on adding in another hard surface in a different colour.

I have a similar black tile on my kids bathroom floors and we are doing a grey cabinet. It may be too much gray… idk I like it and we will use matte blk pulls/fixtures. I thought I had a picture of the floors but I don’t. They are covered because the house it still under construction

I like white too, but no to gray.

Wood or gray. I like what you've got started so far. I don't think the mix of tiles is bad and I don't think it's too much black floor. Ideas:

Maybe you can find a way to photoshop into your space to help you decide.

Wood vanity, stain a medium brown, with black hardware. Black trim around the mirror. Black trim around the shower doors. Add a wood shelf above the toilet with some greenery on it and something gray like the shower wall, gray towels. It will pull the gray from the shower, the black from the floor, and the accessories will pull it all together.

I would do a light wood vanity to warm up all the gray. Also would have it hung on the wall rather than right to the floor to give it some airiness. Black hardware would be nice. That floor tile is very black and needs some softness

I would also do a stained wood vanity (as Jan originally suggested last week) - it will add some warmth to the space.

My primary bathroom is just being finished up - I have dark charcoal Barazilian slate tiles on the main floor (in a herringbone pattern) + Carrara marble tiles on shower walls + 2” marble hexagon mosaic tiles on shower floor (it’s a custom mosaic that uses a mix of Carrara + Bardiglio + Thassos = combines white of countertop/tub/sinks/trim + Carrara shower and tub surround + darker color of slate floor).

I was going to use the same custom mix of 2” hex for the back of the shower niche (the custom mosaic looks really nice) - but decided to ”edit” my design - and instead just ran the wall tile through the niche (much less busy). I used solid white for the sides + shelf + bottom of niche + top of curb + top of pony wall + shower jamb.

I had a custom white oak vanity made for the room (almost 2 1/2 years ago - had delays due to bad contractor + have been dealing with some health issues). I wanted to warm up the room by using wood vs. a painted surface.

My last decision was to use a solid white countertop (plus, use same solid white for niche + other pieces needed for shower). Once the glass is installed - I will finally be FINISHED!

I think the wood vanity = a neutral + helps warm up the room (plus, I will be moving a few of my orchids into the bathroom once my white oak shelves are installed).

I think black fixtures would look nice in your bathroom - and will repeat the black on the floor:

It looks nice - I just personally prefer the stained wood ones for warmth.
