No games 🙄 only wanted some insights, not sarcasm or ridicule. I just can’t put my finger on what the difference between the two pictures are. One was the sample the other is the final (primed, unpainted).

I don't know, are they supposed to be slanted, uneven in spots?

the double cut brick on the lower left? the hole?

I think it's supposed to be a 1/3 offset layout, but some look more like 1/2.

The third photo has much deeper morter joints.

One photo is head on; the other photo is taken at an angle. How can anyone spot any differences with these photos?

The third pic looks like deeper mortor joints and it appears some of the orginal brick color can still be seen around the egdes of the brick. Also looks like a lighter coat of paint(maybe the paint was thinned out some to not be so heavy). The first pics look like brick with a heavy coat of paint.

Two bricklayers likely did the two different segments. The first guy was more meticulous. Probably because his work was being used as a sales sample.

As to the brick? Not perfect, but way down at ground level where I doubt anyone will be staring, even with zero landscaping. Taken out of context of a whole home by unrelated photo's taken at different angles, so hopefully we're forgiven : )

Speaking of helpful, do not plug the gap in the mortar at the bottom of brick veneer wall; they are weep holes and are there for a purpose.

The top photos are perfectly laid, the brick looks smoother and the coating looks thicker and smoother. Bottom photo the mortar joints look deeper and (did you say it is just primed?) it's either dirty or the brick color is showing through. If the bottom one is just a sample wall, have them do shallower mortar joints and then a couple good coats of the paint or coating. If the brick is all finished, good thick coating(s) will most likely make it look more like the first pics.

@cstand sorry for the joke. I love when people have fun on Houzz. Sometimes people just need to laugh. As far as the brick? I can not tell a difference. It was after someone pointed out the weep holes. But sometimes images can be deceiving.

OP: the bricks in the bottom picture look a bit more distressed around the edges than those in the first pictures, but to be fair I can't tell for sure since the first pictures aren't zoomed in. What is it you are concerned about?

Is it that the top two pics are a brick tile while the bottom is the real thing, only painted?
