Maytag vs Frigidaire Dishwasher

We are needing to replace a dishwasher for our fixer upper home we just moved into. We are between two dishwashers - Maytag and Frigidaire. They both have stainless steel interior tubs and have pretty solid reviews. And most importantly are in our budget - so please don't recommend a Bosche haha! Just hoping to see which is more reliable, has better warranty, cleans well, etc.

My preference is Maytag. I owned one a few years ago and I still miss it.

In CR's tests, no Maytag or Frigidaire dishwasher earned a "recommended" rating. However, the Maytag MDB4949SKZ did reasonably well and at $518 (Home Deport) or $570 (Best Buy) it's cheap and owners really like it. The Frigidaire FDSH4501AS scored below the Maytag.

"And most importantly are in our budget - so please don't recommend a Bosch..."

Not all Bosch dishwashers are expensive. The Bosch SHE3AEM5N is $579 at Home Depot.
