curtains or no?

Hey! So we just got shades installed and now I find the room very blah? Should I add curtains if so what colour? I originally didn’t want curtains because our living area is so small so I feel like that’s more clutter and also I don’t like curtains on bay windows. What would you do?

I don't see a single piece of artwork or any pattern except one pillow. Add interest with those things. It doesn't need to be added with curtains.

In addition to adding artwork, consider changing out the rug to something more interesting, and I’d definitely remove the mirror. I love mirrors but a full length mirror like that feels more bedroom/bathroom than living room. And it’s in a prominent spot where some colorful artwork could go.

Open the shades and the room won't be so blah!

Get rid of the mirror and place some colorful art there.

Why do you have that large unused area in the center of the space?
