Hi All, I’m hoping you can give me some input on paint colors for an open concept living room and kitchen. There is a monstrous red brick fireplace (which my family doesn’t want me to paint) that I would like to tone down. There is lots of 2000’s woodwork (orangey-oak) throughout the house. My family insists on green in the living room but I’m having trouble finding anything that isn’t either too green or too muddy. The living room gets light on all sides but mainly west so it looks very warm for much of the day.
