Thanks for posting this great project. My biggest take away was the choice to do full marble backsplash with a quartz countertop. A lux look that brings down the budget. I also loved the brijal paint color in the bathroom.

Another great take away - the designer when asked about what they would change said they wouldn't change a thing. They addressed all the issues the first time around. The project, however, went over 1.5 - 2 times over budget. This is a great lesson in learning how costs can spin out of control.

The new dining area, while a snuggle winter look. seem completely not practical to me. Those upholstered banquette seats are not going to stand up to a four year old. And I never really understood why you'd have an oval table with a set up that so few people have surface space to sit in front of. I'd also feel incredibly trapped sitting on the back and of the banquette.
