LVP on Stairs that Curve

I am having LVP installed throughout my house including the stairs. My installer is telling me, after the flush stair nose pieces and extra flooring for stairs has been purchased, that it won’t work. He said you’ll see the seam where the stair curves and is recommending I buy real hardwood floors for the stairs.

Thoughts??

Have him do a mock up to see if it’s acceptable to you.

He is right. Of course you will see the seams. As above, have him do a mockup. Personally I would have done hardwood on the stairs as the original plan.

Wish he would have suggested hardwood to begin with before I purchased everything. If I do switch to hardwood, will I need the flush nose piece?

I don't see a curve. It will be a miter joint regardless of what material is used. I'm not an LVP guy but could imagine keeping the seams flat permanently is a big wild card. With solid hardwood treads you have the advantage of splining the miter with biscuits or slip tongues maintaining a flush feel and fit.
