Lindaliana, that could be, I did have to do another vinegar drench, the rain has been so much this season that I think my original drench was washed off.

Cut worms? Slugs? The stems look broken.

Utog, I definitely have had cutworms and slugs this year……I was more concerned about the coloration. I think I broke a leaf or two when I was cutting back flower stems. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Understood. I think it is hard to see HVX damage at this point in the season when all the other stressors (heat, water/drought, sun, pests) have taken their toll. I think the coloration is due to multiple stressors and the corrugation is simply due to normal maturation (not as juvenile).

After my third time watching Chris Wilson’s HVX video on the HL home page, I can clearly see that it’s not HVX. In, bleed, which is only one of many symptoms runs along the vein, not across.
