Help with front porch’s colours

Hello,
Our insurance recently asked us to change the front porch railing to bring it up to today’s standards. So we just did it.
Now I’m about to stain it and perhaps refresh the whole area. Eventually we’ll replace the windows and ceiling but not this summer.
So looking at it all, I’m thinking of keeping the posts and railings gray as is (Benjamin Moore Kendall Charcoal », for the ceiling, door and windows keep it in cream (BenjaminMoore « mayonnaise »), the shingles will be replaced to match the new addition colours, Benjamin Moore, « providence olive », lastly, looking at the floor and its stairs, l’m leaning with Cutex stain Gris Fumé. Now I’m realizing that with the floor, that’s four colours.
I’m not sure what to do anymore.
Any ideas?

IMO a lot going on with that exterior . For sure no grids in the new windows and keep finishes to 2 ideally and no more than 3 . All windows the same all siding the same the railings and trim can be another color the stone drives the siding color and the trim IMO

I do not think the windows are being changed out Patricia, just painted.

Indeed, the windows are just being painted for now. (Benjamin Moore “mayonnaise”) No grinding there. Next spring, we’ll replace them as well insulated that wall and then put new shingles in Benjamin Moore “Providence Olive”.

Way too many colors. Plus the brown shingles and beige/yellow shingles. Overload!

If you are keeping the shingles in their two colors, choose ONE additional color (or no additional colors) for everything else. If you choose one additional color, it should work well with the shingles. A warm color for sure, no grays whatsoever.

for the setting and the naturally weathered shingle, I would paint all the trims a bright white.

everything, windows, facia, railings, White.

I agree with the person who responded to your other thread; the railings should be the same color as the support posts are now. As much as I love white porch posts and railings, I don't think they fit your house. A tan/beige color that matches the area below your porch and the addition on the left would unify the colors on the front of your house, if you want to go in that direction.
