The flooring was just installed. This is the actual room. Can’t decide on a chocolate brown or a black leather couch recliner and decor. I want leather because I have two mini schnauzers to it is easier to wipe leather down to keep clean.

Yes the couch pretty hideous. Just a reference for the reclining couch. Do you suggest a black or chocolate brown couch?

I like shirlpp’s suggestions for brown sofas. Black is just not inviting and homey in my opinion. The first brown sofa is warm, a bit darker than the other and I think it goes with your floor better. I love your green walls!

I like the sofas suggested by shirlpp but to me they don’t look like they will recline. Unfortunately, the reclinining mechanism makes sofas bulky. My own leather reclining furniture is bulky but super comfortable.

You can probably find something more streamlined. Like this reclining sofa from Pottery Barn.

Or this one from Arhaus.
