Are you looking at prefolded bindings to be purchased from a website? Perhaps that website has a chat feature to ask about measurments?

Beautiful quilt, Lulu. I can understand why you’re anxious to get it finished after all this time. I never knew you could buy pre-made quilt binding. Live and learn. Rho’s idea is a good one. In my experience, the most common binding starts out as a strip of fabric 2-1/4” to 2-1/2” wide. It is folded in half (making it 1-1/8” to 1-1/4” wide) and then sewn on, giving you a finished binding of about 1/2” or less showing on each side of the quilt, depending on the thickness of the batting. From your post, I’m not sure at which point you want the 3/4” to be measured, after the strip is folded in half or after it’s folded over the edge of the quilt. I’m sure the seller could help.

There's a local shop that I just love. They closed their general quilt store and moved to a smaller space. Now they do Longarm (always did that, they usually do my longarming), sell quilt backs, and binding. They are super responsive. They are Sewletsquilit in Dallas. You can call them and a real person will answer or email them. In their last newsletter, they showed all the colors of prefolded binding they had in stock. They sell prefolded binding by the yard.
