Can I set a house in the wrong snow load zone?

I bought a used home that didn't have a data sheet in it. I ordered one and when I received it, it says the home is verified for the south snow load zone and I live in the middle zone. I bought it in Oklahoma and moved it to Colorado. Now I'm afraid that the county won't let me set it here, which would be a disaster. Will I be able to set my home? Or can I make modifications to the roof so it will be approved? Any info or suggestions are much appreciated. House is in El Paso County, Colorado if that matters..
