Our honed Taj Mahal quartzite countertops were just installed, and unfortunately they don’t resemble the slab I chose in the warehouse. There are distinct brown stains/spots that look like either (a) feces or (b) cinnamon/nutmeg in the very center of our island that were not present in the slab I chose. Hopefully you can see what I mean in the photos. I reached out to our salesperson who matched up the slab numbers I ordered with what he says were loaded to the fabricator, but no photos. They say their liability ends when the slabs leave the warehouse, but in reality I have no idea what they gave our fabricators. Looking for advice… Has anyone experienced this? How would you handle this?
