I actually used this for all my shower curtains.

My one-piece ceiling mounted length to fit traverse rods with pulley to open and close were expensive and shipping was expensive.

Usually ceiling mounted track but a space with small windows covered with drapery is not IMO an ideal look. We need to see your space so post pics here then you will get real help.

How far into your room do the air conditioner and the radiator extend? This will influence where your rod will need to be installed. Have you thought about Roman shades on your windows flanked by draperies (that won’t be drawn)? That look might work better for your room.

Years ago, I used Ikea VIDGA. My recollection was cheap and easy.

You will have to mount them too far from the window to pass the heat/cool.

They need a TON of sheer fabric to look good on any window!

Use a roller screen shade, OR ADD a texture with a natural woven wood roman shade.

What is the box on your window sill? A fan?

I don't think that room is big enough for wall-to-wall drapery. You need a much larger room for it so the drapery doesn't dwarf everything else. I'd go for staionary drapery panels on either side of the window, with a shade. Super simple and all one color.
