There isn’t much going on in the gardens now, most have bloomed out early. I find it a bit depressing because I am used to the gardens full of color at this time of the season.

Autumn Minaret is still blooming, it too started early. It doesnt have as many buds this season.

Final Toich is having a marvelous season, so many more buds. I also find the bloom color is so much more saturated this year. Hope the color is like this next season.

Another great bloom on Savannah Debutante.

My Ruby Slipper hydrangea is changing color. It will get darker, will show another photo then.

This Goldner seedling is still blooming, looks so much like Jan Zoo.

Very nice, sherry. Final Touch is beautiful. I used to have that one and it died out on me years ago. The Goldner Seedling does look a lot like Jan Zoo in that the size appears large and the colors are dead on. The difference is that Jan Zoo's petals don't curve so much, at least they don't on mine. I do like that one.

There are so many great hydrangea cultivars, though the mopheads don't usually thrive here. Wish I had the space to have more of them. Savannah Debutante is so reliable.

What great color on Final Touch! Mine did not bloom this year. It always struggles as a late but definitely took off this year. The hydrangea is lovely.

The Goldner seedling is such a nice color that I'm glad you are showing it again. Hope it continues to do well for you. Can people who are not the hybridizer register a noid seedling I wonder?........You know how I like your Autumn Minaret. I like the combination with the Hostas.........I like seeing the progression of colors on your Oakleaf Hydrangea blooms. I've seen them around Tulsa, but they are site specific, and I don't have what they need in my yard. I'm hoping for you that you get the foliage color change in fall to show us too........Maryl

Well Sherry, I think they are equally pretty, just a bit different in form but very, very close in color.

Final Touch looks great! Well at least that one will have flowers in August. Mine is good this year too. Goldner seedling has beautiful colors, very nice.

Final Touch and the Goldner seedling are my favorites in this group because of their bright colors. It's too bad you season is ending early.
