forget a sectional, sofas and chairs are much more inviting. patterned upholstery with low profiles and not oversized anything. Let the view shine!

I do want a sectional or a couch with chaise , I m wondering where the best spot to line the sectional up , backing the windows, backing the wall facing the windows

The wardrobe is a built in Murphy bed in the den. I wasn’t sure on where to place the TV, and therefore where to set the sectional up. I could line the back along side the windows and half way across the room facing the wall where the TV is there. I need help :)

Sectionals eat up space. What are the dimensions?

First define how much actual seating you need and when you are considering something, before buying tape out the measurements on the floor. Just based on the photo, I’d take advantage of the long wall of windows and back wall (with large art) like below but in reverse. Opposite wall will work well for TV (you can get around glare). Then consider other end of room.

Sometimes you only get what you need not what you want. Chaise sectionals are even worse for seating than an L since that chaise forces someone to sit with their feet up when visiting A sofa 2 chairs gives you 4 nice comfy seats all the time and the bonus you get to rearrange your seating from time to time
