I don't mind the mixed metals. I like the trim of the shower doors to sort of disappear.

I don't mind mixing metal colors, but you need more than just 2 colors otherwise it looks like an afterthought. IMO . black metal needs to have invisible edges. The silver trim is a look that doesn't mix well with the black metal look. It looks like updates made at different times, without a plan. Looks unprofessional. This is the type of look that a homebuyer would immediately update. I wouldn't recommend it. Sorry.

As you can see, you get all different opinions. All chrome, all black, black and chrome--any one of them can be done well. The comment I'd disagree with is that you need more than 2 colors--I wouldn't do that, especially in a small bathroom, it's much too much!

Since you don't care at all about difficulty of cleaning, use the black. It will complete the trifecta there.

Black fixtures are already very dated. Use all chrome and it will be timeless. If you absolutely MUST have some black, do it with the cabinet hardware - then it will be an easy change if/when you tire of it.

Stick with Chrome it is classic
