The plan you show and the real pics of the house have no connection IMOyou have anice simple house and are planning palatial landscaping they do not go together . Get a realisic landscape designer who undestands the need for continuity of home and landscape not just some plan to take your money . Build a nice simple but functional outdoor kitchen I have my smoker as far away from windows as possible in my outdoor design snc e that smoke permeates any space it gets into the house . You want a fire pit that needs to be planned with the seating plan IMO you do all the bones then the plants just like building a house the house then the landscaping . So kind of you...My husband, also Doug :) , wants to put it to the left of the door perpendicular to the house near the window well...like with a little cutout of the patio with some type of wall to prevent people from falling into the window well. Where do you think we should place the grill and smoker? We were going to put in a firepit perhaps where you are suggesting the gazebo. Your landscape around it looks beautiful!
