I would move it based on the 2-D plan.

I don't think the range is the focal point in a kitchen that is mostly closed off.

Whatever stuff you leave on that peninsula countertop will be the focal point. Hopefully not piles of mail!

The wall of the peninsula is completely open, yes? So…I would center the range on the wall as you show it on your plan now. The kitchen isn’t totally enclosed; that wall is completely open. Centered as viewed from the dining room.

This is a remodel?

Maybe show what is existing as this does not seem like a good plan.

Here is the as-built. We're opening up the peninsula wall, but not 100%.

What are these spaces? Where does the door to the top lead?

The top of where you've drawn the red box - small space is pantry, to the right of that is stairs to the basement.

In the plan shown in your top post, I’m not a big fan of the fridge being in the corner next to a wall. Please check the specs for your model and see how much room you’ll need to either side to open the doors fully (enough to remove the drawers for cleaning.)

ETA: is the wall to the left of the fridge being shortened? (Not sure what the darker color means.)
