My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

  • Image 1:Existing foundation/first-floor plan with tight ceiling heights.
  • Image 2: Existing second-floor/attic plan with tight ceiling heights.
  • Image 3:Another view of the existing second-floor/attic plan highlighting the ceiling constraints.
  • Image 4:Proposed open studio loft design featuring a spiral staircase.

I need feedback on the floor plan and whether the layout is functional. Additionally, I’m seeking opinions on whether to keep the second floor or remove it.
