Thanks for checking up on me! Surgery was July 25, and I’ve had 3 PT sessions. This one feels better than the first one. I already have better range of motion. Hubby is wonderful! It helps to have my sister here, too. DH worked night shift last week so he could take me to PT. We just picked up a rental car so I can get around on my own now. (My Mini Cooper is a stick so I can’t drive him for a while!)

So glad to hear you are doing well after the surgery! Keep up your therapy and you'll be zipping around in that mini before you know it.

Thank you, all! I had my 2 week follow up with the doctor yesterday. He was very pleased with my range of motion and said that I can go without the sling around the house. He also said I no longer need the fat pillow on the sling when I do wear it. Yay!

Still no active use of the arm yet, so no sewing. 😕

On another note, it turns out it’s a good thing we got the rental car. Hubby tried to go to work in the middle of the hurricane on Monday and flooded his car. We are waiting to hear from State Farm whether or not they will pay the $11,000 for a new engine!

Whew! That Debby packed a wallop! Hope State Farm comes through!
