Growing Tomatoes

Possibly a silly question about cherry tomatoes

Hi all. I always plant sun sugar cherry toms. I've been picking them when they are very orange. But when I get them into the house, they don't appear as orange. Maybe the sun makes them look oranger. Do cherry toms ripen more after picked, just like the larger varieties do? Thanks.

Yes. All tomatoes, regardless of size, tend to continue to ripen after they're picked until they either rot or dehydrate.

My Sun Sugar tomatoes seem to be doing the same magic trick. Somehow they seem brighter & oranger in the sun. Yes, they will continue to ripen once picked (so long as they already have a blush of color).
