I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the rosarians here. Your assistance has been invaluable to my journey with roses. I truly appreciate the time you take to respond to posts and offer your advice.

I came across a YouTube page where a woman showcases some beautiful florist roses, and I’m sure many of you are curious about how they would perform in a garden setting. So I wanted for once to contribute to this forum. Unfortunately, she doesn’t reveal where she purchased them, which made me think of all you wonderful gardeners out there that never gate keep, and share with us all your knowledge.

Her non trivial roses are from florist bouquets, Etsy and potentially GRF.

Its so weird she cant just state it. Always says local floral market and from a friend. I would be so happy to find a great vendor and share them with others .

Not sure how I feel about GRF right now. Waiting to see if they give me my roses and the other two they promised next year.

Have you ordered from springlandflowers ?

Jemma, buying from Etsy or any ’gray market‘ nursery and admitting this fact might have a lot of consequences that not everyone is willing to accept. Yes, I bought two roses from Springland Flowers this spring.

How was the service and the roses?

Both was OK. Would I buy again knowing what GRF offering? definitely not.

Jemma, be very, very careful. Read the posts on this forum about GRF; they apparently have a very bad reputation.

I purchashed from Ergonzi and got a beautiful Eisvogel rose

Kristine, thank you for letting me know. I'm going to put in my order right now then.

Bart, I already ordered from GRF and waiting for some roses. I appreciate the warning, thank you.

I was not happy with the ones I received but I'm happy she is supposedly going to gift me two more for waiting for the three that have not arrived. And last week magically a gift card of $125 appeared in my account so at least she is trying to make it better.

Kristine LeGault 8a pnw, Any chance you can share some pictures of that Eisvogel rose? I just googled it and it looks so lovely.

Kristine, are you in Oregon? I purchased some roses from this grower in May. https://highgardenroses.com/collections/best-sellers/products/fancy-ruffle-netherlands-florist-climbing-rose

    She is really nice.

You can sort by newest, it’s very helpful on the large chat threads.

Thanks for the tip Heather, If only we can write someone's name in the search box and it appears right away would be nice.

I wish that there was a better search engine where you could type in the name of a rose and all discussions related to that rose would pop up.

Jemma, yes, I am in hot southern oregon

Kristine, have you heard of highgardenroses?

Just go to your web browser search And type in the username and you can follow it through the entire thread. Christine, Go to garden web.com roses Use that search under rose formWhat should come up just like it used to. It's the back door

I always put the rose name followed by the word Houzz in a search engine.

Vaporvac Z6-OhioRiverValley, I have to try it but something tells me it will be a lot of scrolling. Its too bad so many roses posted on here have broken links.

No No it is notIf you use the search The 3 dots It lists how many times that name appears and you just scroll down using an arrow it takes you to the next Time it appears. Susie Q. When using the garden website engine it brings every single post for years up. It is just like it used to be...

Vaporvac I type those words in Google not in Houzz. Is that what you mean by garden website engine? I usually look at just 2 or 3 posts to get a general idea.
