I think your house color right now is pretty warm already! It does look like your roof and walkway lean more into red and your house yellow. A taupe that has the red tones on the body of your house will blend in better if that is what you want and a lighter color would reflect more heat.

For landscaping in the southwest big boulders, lower water use plants like cacti, agave, yuccas, texas rangers, eremophila’s, senna’s, rosemary with rock mulch will look good and use a lot less water than traditional landscapes.

Oh and for trees check out Desert Museum Palo Verde, it grows quickly from a small size, is thornless, podless, has a spectacular spring flower show and needs less water than most trees.

Yes, it’s pretty warm now. But a fresh coat of a beige color would look clean and fresh.

How about a color for the doors? A dull red?

I would like a cleaner look than what you have. Maybe a darker cream color, that is much less yellow. Not a fan of beige paint anywhere. I am also not familiar with your type of landscaping. But, a landscape person could draw out a plan for you at a reasonable price, and you could work at it yourself little by little.

Taupe and lots of stones and pavers for yard. I like that the stone match the color of the house.

Or this beautiful brown gray for siding; lots of white trim; white plants up close to the house for easy watering; again stones and pavers for yard.
