You can find a narrow console table to place along the wall making the space behind the sofa your entryway with a runner on the floor. I suggest a few contrasting accent pillows for your sofa and loveseat, a coffee table, and area rug. Try having the sofa facing the fireplace, but float it in the room after the door. Then place a sofa table behind the sofa. This creates an entryway, along with not having to walk in front of people upon entering the home.
