Patricia - Thanks so much for your response! The light gray is the color of the cabinets. The darker slate is the color of the island. The countertop will be this white and gray color. The floor is the LVP shown. My builder is asking for me to pick out light fixtures now.

Don't neglect task lighting for work zones. Under cabinet lights can help. Your need 450 lumens minimum at the counter surface for working. 4" recessed spaced 6" in from the counter edge is a good location. Two offset to either side of a work zone will eliminate shadowing.

I think keeping door hardware the same is an obvious choice. After that let your decor decide. Mixing metals adds interest. Some may be exactly as you’re planning. I prefer to vary the metals for things like light fixtures and other smaller and easily changed items. There are t hard and fast rules.

Have you given any thought to adding some warmth to your choices instead of everything but the floor being black, white and gray?

My advice to clients who are being forced to make lighting choices choose the cheapest crap the builder has and after you move in slowly get what you love . IMO too early to make these choices . I do agree all the door hardware one color after that you can do those things slowly and done right

Thank you all for your kind advice. I found these lights for over my island, and I was wondering if I could still use the black wall lights over my window with these. Also, what type of ceiling fan would work? All lights are in the same general area, so would need to flow.
